TRAINING AND COACHING PROCESS
We welcome players of all skill levels, including absolute beginners. At first, we will have a quick talk to find out a little bit about your background and your objectives. We will invite you to one of our sessions as soon as possible, so you could start skating. Our coaches will assess what your skill level is, and what your development needs are, and will put you with the right group of players for drills and practice (scrimmage).
Our training sessions are fun and friendly events, we welcome everyone and aim to give you the best experience from playing ice hockey. We play non-checking hockey, in line with EIHA rules for recreational teams, so nobody is going to be hit or otherwise intentionally harmed. If you leave the ice tired, sweaty and with a big smile on your face – it means it was a good training session!
As soon as you are ready, you will start playing friendly games with us against other recreational clubs, and you will be invited to join our traditional weekly scrimmage sessions for advanced and experienced players.
Our coaches also offer individual, one to one, training sessions in a purpose-built studio (off the ice) that is kitted out professionally for stick handling and shooting skills development.
If you are an absolute beginner, or if you have any specific aspects you would like to address, the best place to start may be a consultation with one of our coaches.
